On March 23-24, 2026 in Tustin, CA, the California RTIC Summit will bring together real-time crime center leaders, analysts, sworn personnel, dispatch professionals, and public safety decision-makers from across the state for two focused days of collaboration and operational insight.
Hosted by the California RTIC Workgroup with support from the National Real Time Crime Center Association (NRTCCA), this inaugural summit explores Real-Time Crime Centers (RTCCs) and Real-Time Intelligence Centers (RTICs) throughout California and nationwide.
About the California Real-Time Summit
The CA Real-Time Summit is a two-day, in-person event (March 23-24, 2026) designed to advance operational best practices, technology integration, and real-time response capabilities. Hosted at the Orange County Sheriff’s Real Time Operations Center, sessions will be designed so that attendees leave with practical takeaways: proven strategies, implementation lessons, technology insights, and professional connections that extend beyond the event.
Constant Technologies: A Trusted Public Safety Partner
Constant Technologies has supported Real-Time Crime Centers (RTCCs), Real-Time Intelligence Centers (RTICs), Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs), Fusion Centers, and 911 environments across dozens of jurisdictions nationwide. From mid-sized municipal police departments to regional and statewide intelligence operations, our work involves designing mission-critical spaces that enhance situational awareness and real-time coordination.
Our public safety experience includes partnerships with agencies such as:
- San Francisco Police Department (RTIC)
- Vacaville Police Department (RTIC)
- Glendale Police Department (RTIC)
- Miami Beach Police Department (RTIC)
- Lee County Sheriff’s Office (RTIC)
- Winston-Salem Police Department (RTCC)
- Cicero Police Department (RTCC)
Each center presents unique governance structures, staffing models, workflows, and technical requirements. Designing an RTIC that supports regional intelligence operations is materially different from building a municipal RTCC or modernizing an emergency operations center. Agencies rely on Constant not only for disciplined execution, but for informed guidance shaped by what has worked, and what has not, across similar deployments nationwide.
A Partnership Model Aligned with the Summit
A recurring theme across the California RTIC Summit is collaboration. That same principle defines Constant’s approach to public safety projects.
Agencies are not simply selecting equipment. They are choosing a partner, who will engage early in discovery conversations, translate operational needs into functional layouts, integrate mission-critical technology, and remain engaged long after commissioning.

From early planning and budget alignment through installation, integration, training, and long-term service, Constant provides end-to-end expertise tailored specifically to command and control environments.
Uniquely, our public safety team includes retired real-time operations center leaders who bring peer-to-peer insight to every engagement. That operational perspective aligns directly with the CA Real-Time Summit’s emphasis on real-world lessons and practical guidance.
Why This Summit Matters
The California Real-Time Summit represents more than a regional gathering. It reflects the continued evolution of real-time operations nationwide.
Agencies are asking more questions about:
- Sustainability and staffing models
- Data integration and interoperability
- Scalable infrastructure design
- Future-proofing technology investments
- Governance and multi-agency collaboration
These are similar conversations taking place in RTICs and RTCCs across the country. Events like this create a structured environment for agencies to share lessons learned, refine operational models, and advance performance collectively.
As a NRTCCA sponsor and an active participant in the real-time community since its earliest national conferences, Constant values opportunities that bring practitioners together in focused, operationally driven settings.
