Following months of planning and collaboration, the Athens-Clarke County Police Department (ACCPD) recently opened its Real-Time Crime Center (RTCC) to support public safety across the community.
RTCC: Collaboration and Incident Response
Athens-Clarke County modernized its real-time intelligence capabilities, enhancing coordination during active incidents and expanding analytical support for officers in the field. Their RTCC centralizes data, video, and personnel for proactive policing and crime prevention.

ACCPD Mission-Ready RTCC
The completed RTCC includes:
- Six dedicated operator stations for analysts and support staff
- High-performance video walls to aggregate and display real-time information
- A conference room to support briefings, collaboration, and multi-agency coordination
- Two drone operator stations for UAS monitoring and deployment
- A command staff workspace for focused decision-making during critical incidents
Each element was designed to support continuous operations, situational awareness, and clear lines of communication.
