ISE in Barcelona May 10-13 was even better than exhibitors, attendees, and organizers had hoped for. Despite having taken a break during the pandemic, ISE returned this year with flair. The technology thought leadership, and demonstrations were top-notch, and the number of attendees was impressive.
Last week Constant joined several of our partners in Spain to attend the exhibition. “ISE brought the world’s leading A/V providers together in quite a spectacular fashion,” said Heather Conover, director of business development at Constant. “Exhibitors and attendees were excited to be there after the show’s hiatus, and the location in Barcelona granted the opportunity for expanded space to show off the latest and greatest products.” The opportunity to learn about new products in the A/V space is crucial for Constant. “Keeping current on cutting edge products within mission critical applications is crucial so we can keep providing the best solutions for our clients.”
A key highlight of ISE was the Control Rooms Summit, a half-day event within the conference that focused on critical spaces. Over the last decade, operations have been centralized and technology has developed by leaps and bounds, meaning that the control room market has rapidly evolved into the most vital decision-making point for organizations of all types. One of the themes touched on during the summit was the fact that in critical events, the immediacy of a shared control room cannot be beat. Developing a centralized space for situational awareness and collaboration really is key to efficient and effective incident response. The design and integration of a control room space is therefore something that needs to be carefully planned, and the summit explored the future of control room design and implementation.
