The NCACP (North Carolina Association of Chiefs of Police) is hosting its annual training conference from January 16-19, 2023 in Cherokee, NC.
The 2023 NCACP 47th Annual Conference will be held at Harrah’s Hotel & Event Center. It brings together public safety leaders to build relationships and learn about law enforcement strategies and resources. Lt. Sean Arthur from Constant will attend this important event to stay current on trends in the field of public safety.
Constant’s Solutions for Public Safety
Lt. Sean Arthur recently retired after 30 years in law enforcement and now works for Constant as a Real Time Public Safety Specialist, helping to build RTICs.
As Lieutenant for the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, one of his responsibilities was starting the real time operations center, built by Constant. It has become a flagship model for other agencies by:
- operating as a central HUB, through which all information flows
- providing more eyes for patrol by using license plate readers, traffic cameras, and video streams from drones and helicopters
- being able to coordinate incident command from a central location
- making the most of resources, as recruitment can be a challenge
