After another unusual year, we’ve finally made it to December. The end of a calendar year is often a time to reflect on the past 12 months and look forward to where we plan to head next. Despite 2021’s ever-changing circumstances, it has been a remarkable year for Constant Technologies. Organizations around the world trusted us to provide them with high-quality, 24/7 operations centers. To celebrate our clients, team, and trusted collaborators, we are looking back at some of our biggest moments in 2021:
Growing Industries:
In spite of challenges, there are several key industries that continue to grow. This year Constant continued work in the growing sectors of banking, tech companies, the federal government, and municipal government. The municipal government sector in particular has seen a significant trend of Real Time Intelligence Centers (RTIC).
SCN Top 50:
Each year, the industry publication Systems Contractor News (SCN) releases a list of the best integration firms. This annual Top 50 list continues to serve as an important indicator of the state of the commercial audiovisual industry. Constant Technologies is honored to make the list for the sixth consecutive year. Due to our success integrating video walls for 24/7 mission critical environments, we’ve continued to move up in the rankings year after year. This year Constant ranks at 27, up several spots from last year’s tie at 30/31.
Magazine Feature:
The May 2021 issue of Systems Contractor News featured Constant’s Director of Business Development Heather Conover as an expert voice in the article “Decentralizing Command and Control,” which discussed the future of mission critical post-COVID. In the article, Conover noted, “COVID-19 put reaction time and efficiency to the test. Moving forward, it is clear that organizations with highly functional command and control rooms are best positioned to deal with the unexpected.”
Continued Growth:
We are grateful to report that we continue to expand our service, design, and integration teams at Constant. Despite the uncertainty of the last few years, we are facing more demand than ever before. Our rapid growth means we continue to be on the lookout for experienced individuals to add to our teams.
Conferences:
In September, representatives from Constant attended GSX, the Global Security Exchange, in Orlando Florida. The event, hosted by the professional organization ASIS International, brought together security professionals from across the globe.
We had planned to exhibit at the IACP conference for law enforcement professionals in New Orleans this September, but unfortunately, the aftermath of Hurricane Ida led to the cancellation of the in-person event. However, there is an IACP Technology Conference in May of 2022 which we plan to attend.
Professional memberships:
Constant Technologies became a member of the Security Industry Association (SIA). As SIA members we are looking forward to the opportunities to connect with others in the security industry. The opportunities for education, collaboration, and networking are of major importance to us and we eagerly anticipate exploring the opportunities SIA membership provides.
We’re approaching the final days of 2021, and as we reflect we’re grateful for the success we’ve been able to have thanks to our clients, our team, and our collaborators. Though it’s been another unpredictable year, we’re not just on stable footing– we’re doing better than ever. We look forward to what 2022 has in store and hope you will be a part of our next year.
