This event, said Sasseville, is “a great opportunity created to ensure that Extron dealers are up to date and trained on new products and relevant technologies.”
Extron, one of Constant Technologies’ frequent vendors, designed the course specifically for sales and design engineering professionals. During the course, attendees were given a thorough training on 4K technology as well as preparation for the eventual future of 8K technology. In 24/7 mission critical operations centers, it is imperative to install video wall systems with the best and most up-to-date technology such as 4K display. Constant frequently incorporates 4K video walls into our operations center designs, so it is important to train our team with the latest information about emerging technologies and the technologies used in our mission critical installations. “Extron’s approach to develop products based on feedback from their dealers solidifies the partnership and the trust we put into their product line,” said Sasseville.
4K related topics covered during the training included signal processing technologies, fiber optic system solutions, Extron’s DTP/XTP Twisted Pair systems, AV streaming technologies, Extron systems for sound reinforcement and audio reproduction, and AV control system strategies both present and future. Over the span of two days, the course gave attendees an overview of AV system design and critical parameters in regard to the specialized requirements of 4K technology. Said Sasseville, “Their product support and ability to create custom solutions really speaks volumes on how much they care about their products and dealers.”
